Casey in his new bedDear Santa, Casey and Gibbs here.  We thought we’d save your time by writing one letter between us as you probably get zillions of letters around this time of year.  We didn’t want to tire your eyes out readin’ more than you have to.

First off, we want to say thank you when you helped us find our Mum. We came at separate times – as you know – but we’re more than happy with our living arrangements.  We get all the food we need, toys in abundance (apart from when Casey peed in the toy box and Mum had to throw out a load of our toys – old and new), lovely new beds and cuddles and lap time whenever we want.  We are two of the luckiest cats in the world.

Secondly, we want to thank you for all the friends we’ve made via Mum’s website thingy.  So many people write to us, it’s hard to keep up, but without those friends, Mum said she wouldn’t probably want to write the website any more.  So, thank you for friends, Santa.

Gibbs new bedLastly, it’s an honour and privilege to be with our human Mum.  She gets sick a lot, so Casey takes care of her, while, I, Gibbs, keep watch for zombies and marauders and anything else that might come through the cat flap.  It’s hard work and very tiring trying to stay awake while watching out – sometimes I fall asleep – but Casey gets to sleep with Mum when she’s sick, so she’s OK.

Santa, we don’t need anything for ourselves, but we would like to ask you to help Mum and our ‘Dad’ (he’s going to have a heart operation soon) to stay well because we wouldn’t like to live anywhere else.  Not being with Mum is just an unthinkable thing to have to think about.

Drive safe Santa and thank you for all you’ve blessed us with.

Love and belly rubs to Rudolph and all the other reindeers

Casey and Gibbs
