Monty and his amazing adventures at Christmas by Debbie Spencer is a great little book which would be ideal to pop into a cat lover’s stocking.  Debbie lives in Spain and rescued three little kittens who were barely an hour old.  They had been dumped in a bin and if Debbie hadn’t found them, they would not have survived.  Earlier this year, they celebrated their 10^th birthday.  Against all the odds, they made it not only through their kittenhood, but into adult cathood.  Debbie worked a miracle.

She has worked a miracle, too, with another in the series of ‘Monty and his amazing adventures’ where Monty, Freddie and Claudia learn about snow, Father Christmas and giving to others.  The simplicity of the writing will appeal to early readers but people of all ages will enjoy reading about Monty and his siblings.

Published in paperback and on Kindle by Austin Macauley and beautifully illustrated by Luong Tran, this story will teach children the values of friendship, kindness and love.
