Hi everyone

Please forgive our delay in writing another piece - we've had a lot going on.

TiggerShortly after our last update, we lost our foster cat, Tigger.  Dad rescues him from the neighbourhood, and TNR'd him.  He later noticed Tigger's eyes were messed up, which turned out to be Bilateral Entropion; a condition where your eyelids start turning inward...which causes the eyelashes and hair to dig into the eyeball and cornea.

Tigger had surgery to correct the problem, then he stayed inside with us.  On July 20th, Tigger passed away suddenly.  Dad took about 12 seconds of video to show our vet.  Based on that, our vet believes it was congestive heart failure.  Tigger was buried in our back yard, alongside the other fosters we've lost over the years.

Our home was flooded during Hurricane Harvey.  We got about 10" of water throughout our home.  When it receded, Dad evacuated us to a friend's house.  Later that morning we moved to another friend's house, and that's where we stayed until the 6th October.  We are thankful to have had a safe place to stay though.

Ceci and Beau on our birthdayThe work on our home is far from done.  October 6th (the day we moved back home) was my 2nd Birthday, and my brother (the dog) Beau's 11th Birthday!  The night we got home we got to have a special dinner and a couple new toys too!

Thank you for reading my page, and for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers.

Love,

Ceci
