I came across a very special kitten recently on Facebook – Ceci – the blind kitten. She has her own Facebook page (see the link at the bottom of this piece) and she has her own very special adopted Dad – Darren Bailey. I’m hoping we’ll hear more about Ceci over the coming months.
Ceci and her brother were dumped in the parking lot at a Vet's office in Southeast Texas. She had a very bad respiratory infection, and didn't get to see a vet in time, so it made her eyes rupture. The very nice Vet had to remove Ceci's eyes to save her life. He also removed her tear ducts so they wouldn't cause problems later on. He thought that she was about 2 months old then. Ceci has had a very rough start in life, but she is doing pretty well now. Ceci is a brave kitten, and she is full of energy. On December 14, 2015, a very nice man, asked if he could foster Ceci, and he took her home. On Christmas Day, Ceci got the best present a kitten could hope for! Her Foster Dad decided to adopt her! A Morning Kiss
