Yeowww! Stinkies: catnip sardines

Mum bought Gibbs and me some catnip sardines from The Cat Gallery (www.thecatgallery.co.uk) They come in a neat little tin which has a cat with a peg on his nose (to emphasise the smell) on the lid.  Also, on the lid it says: YEOWWW! STINKIES – catnip sardines.  Flip the tin over and it shows you a picture of one of the sardines, cut in half, showing that it’s ‘filled to the gills’ with catnip.

The catnip is strong and we’ve had these sardines for a month or so now and we still go berserk for them every day, so the smell of the catnip hasn’t weakened.

Three stinkies are crammed in the tin and they came in two different colours, although Mum told us that the colours vary for whoever buys them.  Ours are two reds and a yellow.

What I like about playing with a stinky sardine is that Mum plays with me.  Some toys you can play with by yourself but there are times when you need a human to throw something for you and this is where Mum comes in very handy. She’s funny.  She crouches low – I crouch lower.  She draws her right arm back (holding the sardine) and I wiggle my bum.  One … Two … Threeeeee and on the eeeee  she throws the sardine up in the air and I leap as high I can.  I never knew I could reach such dizzying heights.  I make a huge display of playing with it for all of two seconds and then walk down the other side of the hallway (past Gibbs’ artwork) and wait.  Luckily for me, Mum does it all over again.

This is one of the best Casey and Mum games I’ve ever played.  I really love Stinky Sardines. I give them 5 paws up.
