Casey with catnip fish So Mum met Farmer Ed on Facebook – as you do – and he sent us some home grown catnip from his farm. Man, is it ever strong! Mum put some of it – leaves and flowers – on the scratching thingy I use and it was so strong I zonked out after a few minutes! Then she hit on the idea of making me a catnip toy.

She searched on the Internet to find a template for a fish which she printed out. Then she cut it out and pinned the shape on to some material she had. She made two; one for me and one for George and then she stuffed them with Farmer Ed’s catnip.

George and I really loved the catnip fish – you can see from our pictures that we’re having fun with George with catnip fishthem.

The Very Best Toy for Cats

"Of all the [cat] toys available, none is better designed than the owner himself. A large multipurpose plaything, its parts can be made to move in almost any direction. It comes completely assembled, and it makes a noise when you jump on it."
