This is a Helen Exley gift book by Stuart and Linda Macfarlane.

This book is not a serious textbook on how to care for cats; rather it sets out to give an insight into the feline mind and does so in a very humorous way – with various ‘sayings’ by ‘Chairman Meow’ and other characters. It had me laughing at the high standards of living and acceptable behaviour (only to cats, of course!) which the various cats state they expect. There were also the cat’s New Year’s resolutions as well as guidelines on how to get a human to adopt you and how to treat your human.

It’s so typical of cats (ours in particular).

I would recommend it for sheer enjoyment – I would give it 8 out of 10.

Only one bad note:- I thought that the photos taken at odd angles of the cats were not very flattering to the cats.

Two cats are a conspiracy.
Three cats is an attempted takeover.
Four or more cats is a complete coup!"
