Have you been thinking about getting a kitty?  Look no further, I have the one for you. Some kind soul gifted me with two about three months ago.  They were left in a window box on my front porch. They were about five weeks old and very undernourished. I unloaded one on my granddaughter.

The other one we call Jake is still here. He is now a beautiful beige and white, four month old male.  He is as playful as, well, a kitten.  And always amusing.

When mealtime comes around, be sure to have a footstool under the table, and wear shoes.  The boy loves to bite toes and lay on your feet.  He also likes to climb up onto your lap and grab a bite from your plate faster than you can say, "Stop, Jake!" Don't bother yelling or swatting at him.  Like a bad penny, he will come back. He is fast as greased lightning.

My two old resident female cats live in fear of their lives.  Poor things can't move about the house lest Jake drops from a chair onto their backs, or runs like a train over the top of them, grabbing and rolling until they screech then he hides under the furniture.

It's hard to walk past the bed or sofa as he always seems to be under it and woe to your ankles.  Cabinets must be closed securely at all times, otherwise you reach for something in a lower cabinet and a cat grabs you, unexpectedly.  He throws his body against any closed door repeatedly, until he finally jolts it open.

Our poor doggies do not know how to handle him.  He appears from nowhere, runs up to the dogs, gives them kisses on the mouth before darting away to another secret place, leaving the dogs wondering "What just happened?"

Just when you are ready to wring his neck, here he comes to climb on your lap and cuddle a while.

If you still think you want a cat, and Jake sounds like he will fill the bill, please contact me.  I know you will love him as much as I do.

Dogs Come when Called

"Dogs come when called. Cats take a message and get back to you."
