Dear Squirt,

JimmyI gather you have been advising my adopted daughter, ‘Ol. I don’t know what you have told her, but nothing much has changed. Holly and Daisy get away with murder, but then again, I’m top cat here.

I reckon the appearance of the sun - that big yellow thing in the sky - has made the Ikea chair - if that’s what she was moaning about - the best spec in the house. Even my keepers are using it.

I eat what I want, sleep where I want, mither my keepers at any time between 7 and 8, mither them to get on their laps, squawk for meat a few times every day, and that’s it. The cat flap works. End of.

Yes, my mewsings are good too. So Squirt, carry on, peace rules here. Nothing will stop me swatting ‘Ol if she wakes me up too often by the way, so save your ink …

Love & Light, Jimmy

A Morning Kiss

A morning kiss, a discreet touch of his nose landing somewhere on the middle of my face.
Because his long white whiskers tickled, I began every day laughing.
