So as you may know, I started my social media life on Twitter, where I have made so many wonderful friends! I’ve dabbled with IG and Facebook, but word had it that THE place to be to make it to the big time (so that I can help more stray and neglected animals), is Instagram.

MoetI’ve had IG for a while, but I’d been intermitted with posting as my staff felt that my images weren’t ‘top notch’ enough for the ‘visual sensation’ platform.

Well, we had to rectify that now.

Once mum got ‘back on her feet’ after all that ‘cancer stuff’ she decided to splash out on a new camera. She’s always used a point and shoot or her iCat – ooops, sorry, iPhone (I always think it’s mine coz I like to order stuff on Catazon on it). But now she was going for something called a DSLR. Well it sounds important, even if it’s just a camera.

Home it came. Of course in my view (which is limited, literally speaking) the box was the best bit. It was not a bad size, but try as I might, I could really only fit either my head in it or a paw and half of my body. Hmmm, not off to a good start – I’m not impressed.

Catazon to the rescue?

No, this was staying and that was the box.

There was a lot of YouTube video watching, ‘umming’ and ‘huffing’ but eventually she had it ready to make that clickety-click sound. Ohhhh yes, I know this game so well, as you’ll know from one of my previous stories.

Time to hide!

Moet with new bagSuddenly though, this thing was following me round everywhere. And I mean everywhere – even at one point to the potty box. Now that wasn’t impressive. I pushed the door closed with my paws.

Out in the garden, while I’m eating, while I’m drinking, chilling in my fruit bowl, having a scratch, taking a nap and washing behind my ears. That click hounded me incessantly. The pawparrazzi.

I’m still not really famous mind you, but thankfully it’s died down a bit. And if you want to see the results, head to my Instagram: @MoetBlindCat. I’d appreciate your feedback, because if they’re half decent, I’ll be putting my paw down and demanding royalties. *winks*
