Hi there,

The other day a parcel arrived from Ethel’s humans – Alison and Peter – who run The Cat

Gallery in Yorkshire, England. When Mum opened it, with me hovering nearby, she took out something that made a noise.  Straightaway I pricked up my ears with interest.  She removed the plastic film covering and put it on the carpet.  Oh boy, was it heavenly. It rustled, it crackled, and it smelled divine.

It wasn’t catnip, fellow felines, it was the herb valerian, which can make humans sleepy, but which attracts cats and calm them down. Both Gibbs and me took turns on it, sniffing, lying on it, rubbing against it – all sorts of weird things we did – and then we both went to sleep for ages.

The Valerian Rustling Cushion comes in other colours too, ours is a pink colour and you can get it from The Cat Gallery.  If you buy it this month (till the end of May) you’ll get a discount of 10% so rush over there right now and quote TDM10 – you can buy lots of other great things too.  Tell Peter or Alison that Casey and Gibbs from The Daily Mews sent you.

We give it 5 paws.

Dogs Come when Called

"Dogs come when called. Cats take a message and get back to you."

"Of course, every cat is really the most beautiful woman in the room."
