Little Rapscallion

The following is about
the newest edition to our family, he is six months old, cute, rambunctious, and
does a great (phew) impression of a skunk when picked up and cuddled!
His given name is Noah
he’s a rascal, a scamp and a rogue;
a cute little kitty who’s wearing
black and white fur that’s in vogue.
He has green eyes
big as saucers
full of curiosity, mischief and wonder;
with bold, steady gaze he will fix you
a challenge that can break hearts asunder.
He wants to be
part of our family
and is doing his very best to charm;
there’s hissin’ n spittin’ and waving of paws
but no one has yet come to harm.
He wants to
befriend Tosh and Timmy
and they tolerate his playful advances;
but with Calli, Sammy and Tiger Lily
he’s careful not to take undue chances.
He’s playful,
talkative and nosy
and has an adventurous streak;
as he weaves amongst ornaments and flowers
such havoc he really could wreak.
While Pa is
soaking in the bathtub
Noah patiently waits by the door;
but when Ma takes a shower, it’s different,
he wails and paces the floor.
He thinks I’m drowning in soapsuds,
that my fur has all washed away,
and that if this fate should befall him
his black and white coat may turn grey!
Noah is a very
affectionate kitten,
to be loved and cuddled is all he would ask;
he already has won our affections,
our cats are Little Rapscallion’s next task.
