MISCHIEF

Hello
Everyone,
My
name is Mischief and I am a jet black domestic short haired boy. I was born on
the 27th May 1999. My mum was Whatsit and I have two ginger brothers,
Syddy and Tymmy. I have lived
here all my life.
As my
mum and her sister, Gizmo, both had unexpected kittens within a month of each
other, there were a lot of kittens in our house, as both my mum and my aunt had
four kittens each. I believe that mummy at one time felt that she could not
keep us all, and it had been arranged that I and my cousin
Flash would go and live with someone who would give us a good home, but when
it came down to it mummy could not bear to part with any of us, and so we all
stayed.
I
have always been a bit of an outsider, and I am not as naughty as my name
implies. I just look cheeky. Syddy and Tymmy do not like me very much and if I
am not careful they will sometimes pounce on me. I do not like this very much,
but if they want a fight then I'm your man, and I give as good as I get. If
mummy is at home she will wade in and separate us.
I get
on well with my cousin Butty and we both like to sleep with mummy, and we keep
her awake by both patting her wanting her to give us strokes when we are all in
bed.
I
love my catnip sack which mummy got from Cat's Protection, and it is quite the
best catnip I have had. Mummy grows it for us, but has to grow it in a hanging
basket so we cannot get at it, as any planted in the garden is quickly rolled on
and eaten in no time at all. Mummy regularly cuts some of the catnip for us and
I just love to roll all over it and then eat it.
I do
not like this cold weather and much prefer to stay indoors just going out for a
short morning constitutional first thing. Mummy says I am a good boy as I do
not catch birds and mice. This is now left to Socks who is the youngest cat and
he keeps bringing live mice in, which I do have to say is quite exciting, and I
do join in the chase to find the missing mouse. Mummy always tries to save
them. Most of the time she is successful but on rare occasions we win the
chase.
When
I was a bit younger I did like to catch frogs. Mummy did not like this very
much as I only wanted to make them jump, but mummy thought I was being cruel.
Well,
I think that is all from me as I am sure I can hear mummy opening a packet of
food, so I must be off before the rest of the gang get there before me.
Love
from
Mischief
