ZERO

My beautiful 15-year-old black Bombay cat Zero passed away at
home on January 12, 2006. She was one of three cats and was the Queen of the
House. My husband named her - and said on a scale of
1 to 10, she was a "zero", but he loved her just as I did.
A few years ago I had a terrible gallbladder attack and was
lying face down on the bed praying to die as the pain was so bad. Next thing I
knew Zero jumped up on my back and laid there on top of me and, after about 15
minutes, all the pain left. I've not had another attack since. This was not her
usual behaviour as she was a rather aloof cat and I really think she knew I was
in pain and figured out just how to relieve the pain. I will never forget what
she did.
She knew she was loved because I told her every day what a
lucky day it was when I found her. Besides my husband, she was the love of my
life and I miss her terribly.
How I wish I could say I have had a "visit" from her since
she died but, so far, I have not felt her presence but I hope she is waiting for
me at the Rainbow Bridge.
How kind, gentle, and loving animals are and it breaks my
heart when they are mistreated and/or abused. If only humans were as good as
animals are, it would be a better world. Missing Zero,

MEAL!!!! I immediately walked away! So I'm so on your half

2005 MEWSLETTER
Thank you very much for another wonderful Mewsletter. I look
forward to it each month, and this month was especially fine.
There is enough in it to be able to read at leisure over several
days, which sets it apart from many more compact sites, which
are finished in a few minutes. Your Mewsletter is more of a
digest, which I can go back to for something new over and over
again. I appreciate very much the work that you put into it,
and the contributions of all your feline staff. Thanks to
Ricky, I may even take up yoga.
