MARK ONE FOR THE HUMANS - training your cats!
My
cats are trained! Yes, you did read that right! I have just done the ultimate
test on Silver. She was sleeping on me and I could hear the birds outside so I
started saying the keywords: ‘bird!’ … ‘birdie!’. Before she is even
completely awake, she starts chattering!
The
other cats are flying in from all directions looking for the birds. Mind you, I
was sitting at the computer and nowhere near a window at the time. Feeling a
little guilty, I got up and went to the patio door and started saying it there,
so all the cats knew where those ever-elusive ‘toys’ were. All my cats are
indoor cats, except for Not Tommy but he was inside at the time.
Yes,
mark one for the humans! Although, no doubt, they’ll get their own back on me
when I’m not looking!
