Vernon Coleman is a slim volume containing various interesting feline facts,
figures and data which you can recall at parties to impress your fellow guests.
Did you know, for example, that Florence Nightingale, ‘the Lady of the Lamp’,
and the founder of modern nursing, owned 60 cats during her lifetime?

loves cats and this is evident from this compendium which contains his
inimitable ‘catoons’, his little squiggly drawings of cats with expressive
features summing up exactly the point he is making.
Marmalade, an 8
years old cat, has her own chapter on Cat Myths debunked, which I found
interesting to say the least and it certainly debunked a few myths that I
thought were true.
There are several
chapters all containing lots of different information, sayings, facts,
limericks, quotes from cats; for example: ‘A door is a large piece of wood
separating a cat from where it wants to be.’ (Mogs (Tabby cat aged 8) and many
other weird and wonderful things.
This is a book to
dip into at will or read in one sitting. Astound your neighbours and friends by
divulging interesting titbits that they’re bound not to know and either go up in
their estimation or confirm in their opinion that you are, indeed, the
neighbourhood nerd!

Thank you very much for another wonderful Mewsletter. I look
forward to it each month, and this month was especially fine.
There is enough in it to be able to read at leisure over several
days, which sets it apart from many more compact sites, which
are finished in a few minutes. Your Mewsletter is more of a
digest, which I can go back to for something new over and over
again. I appreciate very much the work that you put into it,
and the contributions of all your feline staff. Thanks to
Ricky, I may even take up yoga.
