Hi Everyone

Just a brief word to let you all know that we're up and running again and you can reach the website as you always did at www.thedailymews.com. Those of you with AOL will have to copy and paste the link into your browser - and then put it in your favourites!

I haven't had chance to go through and check every link so if you do find a broken link, please let me know - I'd really appreciate it.

It was a scary couple of days when I couldn't access my website either from my browser or from my editing package. Knowing my 'baby' was lost in cyberspace somewhere really upset me and I felt quite twitchy until I had it safe in my hands once again.

Thanks to all those who took the time and trouble to write to me in panic because they also couldn't access the website - and thank you for sticking around and not deserting me!

Many thanks to Jeff who helped me work through the 'gremlins' and got me up and running again, and many, many thanks go to Michelle who has been my host for the past couple of years - and who helped me with all my editing. She kept me going when I felt like quitting. So many
thanks to both of you.

Thanks go to my many regular email friends who write to encourage me, or send me snippets of interesting things - all these things are much appreciated.

This is fast becoming an overemotional Oscar acceptance speech so I'll leave now while the sun is still shining - and you can enjoy your weekend.
