CONVERSATIONS WITH REBEL

Rebel and I had a little discussion tonight.
Why did we have a discussion?
I could no longer resist the
temptation to pick her up and cuddle her so I went ahead and held her for a few
seconds and kissed her and told her how much I loved her.... and then she gave
me a rather disgusted look and spat in my face.
So we discussed the purpose of
her being cute and fuzzy. It seems she did not understand that since she was
(through no fault of her own) born a cat she was born for the soul purpose of
being loved and cuddled and stroked and pampered and generally getting royal
treatment - hence the reason God made her cute and fuzzy.
But she is not satisfied with
her place in the world and insists that she is bristly and terrifying rather
than cute and fuzzy. Nothing I say or do can convince her otherwise. I'm sorry
to say we didn't make any headway. She said she will continue to spit at me if I
pick her up and kiss her - and I told her I'll do my best but I can’t guarantee
not to ever pick her up again BECAUSE she is so cute and fuzzy!!!
Vicious cycle eh?

Thank you very much for another wonderful Mewsletter. I look
forward to it each month, and this month was especially fine.
There is enough in it to be able to read at leisure over several
days, which sets it apart from many more compact sites, which
are finished in a few minutes. Your Mewsletter is more of a
digest, which I can go back to for something new over and over
again. I appreciate very much the work that you put into it,
and the contributions of all your feline staff. Thanks to
