about ourselves - that we are nice.' - Roger A Caras
"Of all the [cat] toys available, none is better designed than the
owner himself. A large multipurpose plaything, its parts can be made to

MEWSLETTER September 11 2005

Dear Everyone
Almost there in my quest to retrieve the lost components of my computer - I said
'website' in the previous Mewsletter - but I did mean computer. I now have XP
installed and once again, I have access to Microsoft Outlook - which means I can
receive emails. BUT - I have lost all the content that I had in the old
Microsoft Outlook and so this Mewsletter is the only way I can contact those of
you who are regular contributors to the Daily Mews. I lost all my contact
addresses!!!! So will the following folk please resend their articles, poems,
items for the A'mews'ment Arcade, tributes for Napping on a Sunbeam, art work
and so forth. If I haven't mentioned your name and you sent me something for
inclusion, please send it to p.dewberry@ntlworld.com.
This address will be used SOLELY for Daily Mews contributions and problems or
help/advice. Please do not use this address for any other purpose.
For general correspondence and chit chat, I have another email address which you
may use and that is: p.dewberry@hotmail.co.uk. You are more than welcome to
write to me on that address about anything else not related to the Daily Mews.
Once I have received all the submissions from the following people, I should be
able to get out a PROPER MEWSLETTER. I do thank you for your patience and
prayers - I can't tell you how frustrating this whole business has been but hope
that you do understand.
Right: Roll Call:
Bridget - Cinderella Story - cat
Laura - ALL artwork for Obesity article and Orlando's adventures - and Cudell
Cartoons
Jackie - Orlando's Adventures (again! I'm sorry!)
Helen - the poem - Catastrophe
Ed - your latest submission
Margy - tribute to Divot + pictures
Marjorie - tribute to Atticus + pictures
Maida - Cats in Condos
Some one sent me something on 'If Dogs Were Our Teachers' or something like that
... please resend.
Anyone else who sent me something before that hasn't been mentioned in this roll
call, please resubmit your work.
Thank you to Philip (Kitty's Dad) for his offer of help. I went off line before
I could contact you - I hope you realised that.
I look forward to hearing from you all very soon - the sooner you get your
articles to me, the sooner I can update the site and get out a MEWSLETTER - not
to put pressure on anyone!
Take care and I until I write again, have a PURRFECT week.
All good wishes
Pauline and the Daily Mewsers.
A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO A SPECIAL PERSON WHOSE BIRTHDAY IS TODAY - he knows who
he is - his feline friends are Barney, Milou, Moische, Mila Markovic, Tin-Tin,

A
Cat's Prayer'
Lead me down all the right paths,
Keep me from fleas, bees, and baths.
Let me in should it storm,
Keep me safe, fed, and warm.
Let the sun shine where I lay,
Keep me young so I may play.
And most of all ...
Bless the people I adore,
And guard me from the dog next door.
